The Innoxa Organic range is certified by an independent body called COSMOS. This is shown on packaging and marketing materials. COSMOS (COSMetic Organic Standard) is an internationally recognised, harmonised standard for organic and natural cosmetics which was developed to address the needs of consumers, the industry and the environment. COSMOS was founded in 2010 by leading European standards organisations & is paving the way for manufacturers and consumers alike to purchase and promote certified natural and organic products around the world.

You can find out more about COSMOS here.

  • Why are Innoxa Organic products given a percentage (%)?

The Innoxa Organic range requires various ingredients, including preservatives that are not available as an Organic ingredient and/or ineffective as an Organic version. This means that a very small percentage of the product is unable to be organic, in order to ensure product stability, longevity and safety. All non-Organic ingredients used in the Innoxa Organic range have undergone a stringent approval process to be accepted & used in COSMOS Approved Organic Products. Therefore, all ingredients in Innoxa Organic are either certified or approved by COSMOS.
